PARTNER CHECKLIST: BARRACUDA NETWORKS---------------------------------------

Barracuda offers the Barracuda Load Balancer, an appliance that integrates IP load balancing and a network IPS.

PARTNER CHECKLIST: CHECK POINT------------------------------------------------------------

Check Point offers three IDS/IPS products: IPS-1, a turnkey Check Point appliance or software-only version that protects ((Content component not found.)) against viruses, spam and spyware; SmartDefense, a service-based protection that comes with all Check Point enforcement points and gateways; and Interspect, an appliance that integrates IPS and network access control (NAC) for internal network security.

PARTNER CHECKLIST: CISCO-------------------------------------------------------------------

Cisco's IPS line includes the Cisco IOS Intrusion Prevention System, an appliance that works with Cisco IOS software to protect branch networks from intrusion; the Cisco Security Agent, a host-based software application that integrates IPS, data loss prevention (DLP) and signature-based antivirus; and the IPS 4200 Series Sensors, an appliance with policy-based management for intrusion prevention.

eEye offers Blink Professional Edition, which integrates endpoint protection such as IPS, IDS and vulnerability assessments to a 60 MB software security agent.

PARTNER CHECKLIST: JUNIPER NETWORKS--------------------------------------------

Juniper's intrusion prevention product line consists of its Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP), appliances for SMB and large enterprise deployments, and their ISG Series with IDP, a security gateway that integrates IPS with firewall and IPSec VPN.

PARTNER CHECKLIST: MCAFEE ----------------------------------------------------------

McAfee's intrusion prevention products are available for SMBs and enterprises. Network Security Platform integrates IPS and internal firewalls and includes McAfee's NAC while the more comprehensive Network Security Manager provides security management and allows for the implementation of multiple IPS policies for different networks and machines, based on security needs.

Radware's IDS traffic management system helps increase the amount of traffic that is scanned by intrusion-detection systems by decrypting SSL traffic before it goes to a selected IDS server.

PARTNER CHECKLIST: SOURCEFIRE ----------------------------------------------------------

Sourcefire's enterprise threat management (ETM) approach integrates IPS with network behavior analysis, network access control and vulnerability assessment in its Sourcefire 3D System. Sourcefire also offers Snort open source intrusion detection and prevention technology.

Third Brigade offers Deep Security, a host-based IDS software application that provides stateful firewall protection, SSL inspection and a Web-based management system for multiple platforms, including Windows, VMware and Linux-based networks.

IBM offers its Proventia IPS solutions, which provides network protection at the perimeter, core and remote offices of your network. It also monitors, detects or blocks many classes of network threats.
