Agiliance Inc., a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) services based in San Jose, Calif., has joined McAfee Inc.'s Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) program.

Agiliance RiskVision, a GRC platform, will be combined with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator software, a security and compliance management product. This partnership will enable customers to improve their GRC standing and realistically evaluate their risk factors.

McAfee hopes this partnership will bolster its GRC portfolio amidst the global economic crisis. With regulatory standards and governmental oversight changing because of the weak economy, companies could benefit from compliance automation, which is what Agiliance RiskVision offers.
