Portcullis Systems Inc. announced new network security offerings based on hardware from Hewlett-Packard Co., one of their partners.

The new HP-based security product line will give Portcullis' Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) and Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) customers a Tier-1 hardware choice, something that was not previously offered. Portcullis can now compete in the enterprise-level market with this new product line.

These new offerings will allow customers to implement stronger application security. Microsoft's IAG and ISA are combined with Portcullis Systems Appliance Management to manage hardware and software alerts, provide patch management and status reporting.

Portcullis Systems, founded in 2008, is a spin-off of NEI.
