Agilex Technologies Inc., a government, healthcare and commercial sector VAR in Chantilly, VA, has announced a new partnership with HBGary, a company which provides computer forensic, incident response and assessment services.

The addition of HBGary Responder Professional, a memory-investigation and malware-analysis system, will allow customers to identify and mitigate security threats against the U.S. government.

The Obama administration has acknowledged the need for tighter cyber security in the context of homeland security. Agilex execs believe that adding the HBGary product will reinforce the security posture in terms of malicious code detection and elimination.
