U.K.-based antivirus and antispam vendor Sophos plc. has announced it will remodel its global partner program based on the success of its North American partner program.

Its North American channel strategy includes directing 100% of sales through the channel. This approach has led to 43% revenue growth in 2008 for active Sophos channel partners.

According to Sophos, partners enjoy competitive margins, deal-protection programs, customized marketing campaigns, online certification programs and more.

The vendor hopes modeling the global channel program after the North American program will better promote the Sophos brand around the world and increase sales for global partners.
