Symantec Corp., announced a new aspect of its partner program, called Extended Terms Financing Program.
The program, which is available to Symantec's registered and silver-level partners, allows partners to delay their payments for up to 60 days with no penalties. The company hopes that the program will improve sales for partners.
In order to meet eligibility requirements, partners must have completed the Symantec SMB Specialization program. The program gives partners who have already proven that they are well equipped to work with SMBs more tools to further improve their business..
In conjunction with the financing program, Symantec has also announced the launch of the Survive and Thrive Business Management Series. This program serves to educate partners in business matters, including handling cash flow, investments and making new business deals. This program is 24 weeks long and free for Symantec partners.
