VeriSign, SoftLayer join forces on SSL

VeriSign Inc. and SoftLayer Technologies Inc. have announced a partnership, which will allow VeriSign SSL certificates to be sold through SoftLayer.

SoftLayer will integrate VeriSign's SSL certificates into its management console. Along with the VeriSign certificates, GeoTrust SSL certificates will also be available through SoftLayer.

SoftLayer is an on-demand data center and hosting services company based in Plano, Texas. VeriSign is an internet infrastructure service provider based in Mountain View, Calif.
