After selecting a firewall topology, it is time to decide where to place individual systems inside that topology. You can protect or expose your customer's systems depending on where you place them within a firewall architecture. This tip offers guidance on placing systems within three different firewall topologies: bastion host, screened subnet and a multi-homed firewall.
